Amaury Castillo, APRN

Amaury Castillo is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at Vascular and Interventional Specialists of Florida with over 20 years of experience in the medical field.

He currently specializes in the evaluation and treatment of dialysis vascular accesses. Amaury obtained his bachelor of science in nursing from Florida International University in 1997. He then worked for over 10 years as an emergency department nurse and helped develop the Heart Attack Center at South Miami Hospital.

While obtaining his master’s degree, Amaury worked at the Miami Neuroscience Center assisting in gamma knife radiosurgery and as an interventional radiology nurse at Doctors Hospital.
