Osmany DeAngelo, DO, is a fellowship-trained endovascular surgeon at Vascular & Interventional Specialists in Miami, Florida. His area of expertise is in peripheral arterial disease (PAD) with extensive experience in endovascular revascularization and limb salvage. He also has extensive experience in dialysis access management.
Dr. DeAngelo received his Doctor of Osteopathy at the University of North Texas Health Science Center-College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999. He was fellowship-trained in interventional radiology with a special emphasis in endovascular surgical procedures at the University of Miami – Jackson Memorial Hospital.
He served as a laboratory director for RMS Lifeline Open Access for two years, performing countless endovascular procedures on dialysis access. He served as the preceptor for the Radiology Physician Assistant program at the University of Miami, a degree program given in combination with Weber State University in Ogden, Utah.
Dr. DeAngelo has a special interest in physician education and public awareness of PAD, and he frequently lectures on the subject both locally and internationally. He holds professional memberships in the American Heart Association, American Medical Association, American Society of Nephrology, International Society of Endovascular Specialists, and Society of Vascular Medicine.
